Walks Programme

General

As these walks are planned up to 6 months in advance and there could be late changes it is suggested that walkers contact hertfordshireway@gmail.com closer to the scheduled date.

All walks start at 10am unless otherwise stated and generally finished by 4pm. Most of the walks are within Hertfordshire but from time to time we "stray" into neighbouring counties.

All are welcome on the walks (but no dogs please) and we would recommend that you join The Friends. Children and vulnerable adults must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Please remember whenever you have to leave your car in a residential area park it with due consideration for those who live there.

The Wetherspoon Walks, Spoons to Spoons (S2S), are a series of linear walks linking all their 15 pubs in Hertfordshire. They will start and finish at a Wetherspoons and if appropriate there will a lunch stop at a pub. As a general rule walkers meet at the end of the walk and we get to the start via lift sharing or public transport. The length varies from 11 miles up to 18 miles (Royston to Bishop’s Stortford).

Please contact us for details on how to take part.
